Girl Guiding covers the whole world, and International trips are a fantastic opportunity for girls from LSW to see how Guiding works in other countries. In 2005 girls and leaders from LSW took a trip to Norway to experience the way Guiding runs and took part in “home stays” for part of the stay.
An International trip took place in 2011 to Croatia, for 20 girls and 4 leaders - details of their amazing trip can be found on the link to the left.
Not only do we offer Country Trips, but LSW puts forward girls for LaSER (London and South East Region) trips, something that gives our girls a huge and exciting opportunity to discover the world through girlguiding. Last year we have 2 leaders who were been accepted on LaSER trips, one to Costa Rica and one to South Africa.
We are now looking foward to 2013 and ideas are being put in place for a new “International Adventure” – get in touch if you want to find out more or be a part of it.
