We are Barbara and Caitlin, joint county commissioners for London South West. We were honoured to take up the post in April 2024 and are excited to spend the next five years supporting our amazing team of leaders and volunteers as they deliver fantastic opportunities and a wonderful Girlguiding experience to the young people in the LSW area.

We are a part of Girguiding, the UK’s largest youth organisation dedicated completely to girls between the ages of 4-18. London South West is a great place to be involved in guiding. We pride ourselves on being a welcoming County that creates an engaging and safe environment for our young members

There are lots of fun and flexible ways for adult volunteers to get involved in guiding too. No previous experience with guiding needed. Whatever your skills or interests, whether its volunteering with girls directly or supporting behind the scenes, we’d love for you to join us!

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_3″ _builder_version=”4.17.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_image src=”https://www.girlguidinglondonsw.org.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Barbara-420×590.jpg” title_text=”OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA” _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” border_radii=”on|10px|10px|10px|10px” border_width_all=”3px” border_color_all=”#007BC4″ box_shadow_style=”preset4″ box_shadow_color=”#161B4E” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=”1_3″ _builder_version=”4.17.4″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_image src=”https://www.girlguidinglondonsw.org.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Caitlin-scaled.jpg” title_text=”Caitlin” _builder_version=”4.27.5″ _module_preset=”default” transform_scale=”107%|113%” transform_translate=”-15px|21px” max_width=”100%” border_radii=”on|10px|10px|10px|10px” border_width_all=”3px” border_color_all=”#007BC4″ box_shadow_style=”preset4″ box_shadow_color=”#161B4E” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_image][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” min_height=”164px” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_heading title=”LSW county role descriptions” _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” title_text_align=”center” title_text_color=”#FFFFFF” background_color=”#161B4E” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_heading][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”-56px|||||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” custom_padding=”0px|||||” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_accordion open_toggle_text_color=”#00A7E5″ open_toggle_background_color=”#161B4E” icon_color=”#007BC4″ _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” toggle_text_color=”#161B4E” toggle_level=”h4″ toggle_font=”–et_global_body_font||||||||” closed_toggle_font=”–et_global_body_font||||||||” body_text_color=”#FFFFFF” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_accordion_item title=”County commissioner” _builder_version=”4.27.6″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}” open=”on”]

Oversee the provision of girlguiding within London South West.

Support volunteers with any concerns or enquiries including safeguarding, inclusion and complaints.
