Friday – Sunday 14th – 16th October saw nearly 80 Rainbows and Leaders from LSW descend upon a residential hall in Croydon for the Big Rainbow Art Attack Weekend. 2 nights of sleepovers and a day of activities including making stick men, a camp fire, countless creative crafts, dance and a music session were enjoyed by LSW Rainbows. They made their own pizzas, leaf rubbed, made “green men” on the trees in clay and lots more – it really was an action packed weekend.
Unbeknown to most of the assembled, Tora Shand, our previous County Commissioner who had come to lead the campfire was to be surprised with the announcement of her Laurel Award – congratulations again!
This was a good chance to ask the Rainbows how they wanted to celebrate their 30th Birthday next year so keep an eye out for plans coming up!
Below are a couple of photos of the weekend – thanks to Belinda and the team for a fun packed weekend!
