This year, to coincide with World Thinking Day we ran a county event where we sponsored and helped plant a total of 4 trees on two commons in our county. Units then participated in a range of self-led activities to gain their Growing Up Wild in the woods PawPrint badge. Activities included litter picking, bird ID, a tree trail, a scavenger hunt, making wildflower seed bombs and bird fat balls. Streatham District ran their own event planting an additional tree the following day. Each event attracted around 100 young members.
